JUNE U.S. SALES
Ford's June swoon: sales plunge 28 percent

Richard Truett
DETROIT -- Ford Motor Co. said today it sold 167,090 vehicles in June, down 28 percent over last year.
Sales for the first half of 2008 totaled 1.1 million, down 14 percent compared with 2007 sales.

Re: FORD has a problem !!!

well if you consider the majority of Fords market is now trucks & muscle cars its no wonder they are hurting, but not as bad as Chrysler.
Chrysler was done 35% for june. the only way I see them surviving is to start buying cars from Nissan or Tata and rebadging them for fuel numbers. the best thing they have going is a 1.8 Caliber that gets 31mpg at best.
