Hello,
I am in the process of attaching an antenna to my H3 for a fire scanner. I have located the antenna on the bumper without drilling, but need to get the antenna cable into the interior of the vehicle now. I think I have found a way in, as seen in the photo, but can I drill through the plastic plate located in the chamber (as seen with the arrows). The plastic plate painted body color, not the black rubber seal that closes the chamber. Will drilling through this plate harm anything (air pressure in vehicle, etc)? And, does going through that plate even lead into the interior? Thank you, Keith |

Drill it, use a grommet to protect the wire, and seal it with some nice silicone. You should be fine.

Another location is to brign the wire up under the right rear fascia extension, under the rear taillight assembly, then feed through the wires for the tail light.
