Cruise Control

Slight problem, my cruise control sometimes will not activate....or I have to hit the buttom 10-15 times before it does....once its on it works just fine.

Anyone know why this is happening??

Well, still haven't figured it out as well, I don't care to take it to the stealership as it doesn't bother me all that much....80% of the time it works....but, if you or someone else finds the problem...let me know

Yes, please keep us up to date. I live by my cruise control traveling back and forth from New Jersey to Virginia.

I too recently experienced this problem. It worked fine during my last trip, but the other day I got on the highway and pushed the button and no response. I played with it for a while and nothing. The minor troubleshooting procedures did not solve the problem. I've been busy the last few days, but will perform further checks on the system. If I discover a solution I'll let you guys know.

Re: Cruise Control

Its possible a trouble code set during that or the prev ignition cycle which will disable cruise operation. Until the diagnostic test runs again and passes it will not allow cruise operation. Most codes have to fail on 2 consecutive ign cycles before the ses light turns on, but can still inhibit certain functions.
