I am looking for a 6"-8" lift. the 4" rancho isn't big enough, yet the 9.5" full throttle is a bit too big. (don't want to go too big again, just sold a 00 gmc sierra with 44"tsl's and 15" of lift because of being afraid of lift laws)

So I am thinking that skyjacker or fabtech are my only options?

I read somewhere that the fabtech requires cutting and welding?
do they come with front driveshaft?

where is the cheapest place to buy from? I'd like to stay under $2300 or so

I would like to retain my factory wheels for now and run 39.5 13.50-17 iroks
which lifts work with factory wheels?

thanks!!

I have the SkyJacker 5.5. It has the added beniefit of heavier trailer arms ... Nitto Mud Grappler 38x15.5x17 x10 with slight rub on right inner fender when flexing and rear inner frame.
Still very happy with the setup.

hey drmiles...any problem getting those tires balanced?

drmiles 09-22-2004 04:22 PM

Since they are SOOO LARGE the local discount could not fit them on their machine.

Texas Off Road Balanced them for $25 ea.

No problems with the actual balance.

A friend suggested a large truck tire store also..

Love my set up..

do they come with front driveshaft? Skyjacker is a direct bolt on kit..Drive shaft additional.

where is the cheapest place to buy from? I'd like to stay under $2300 or so Good Luck $4 - $5000. Also you don't usually want the cheapest place working on your $60,000 H2. Go for quality work and service.

I would like to retain my factory wheels for now and run 39.5 13.50-17 iroks
which lifts work with factory wheels? Sorry you'll need new rims. 18" should do the trick!

Thanks!!
