Great looking rims if I did not have the ones I do now those would be my 1st choice.

That looks nice. Does the center cap comes without the star?

Does this set up rub in any way?? What offset are your rockstar's? 22x12.5 and 44mm?

Nope no rubbing on mine... Others on here have said that they have had rubbing issuses but I have not... I guess that just goes to show you that no 2vehicles are the same!

That looks AWESOME!!!! Did you have trouble finding someone to mount the tires on the 12' wide rims? I bought 17x12 and no body is able to mount the tires on the rims.

Re: New Rims and Tires

When you bought your wheels and tires did you specify a certain back spacing or is the 22x12 rockstar for Gm trucks all the same? I love your set up. By far the best looking wheel/tire combo out there. Where did you buy them? How do you like your Kuhmo's so far? Are the loud? How differently does your truck handle? How is the braking/acceleration?
I'm thinking of upgrading my brakes and putting in some 480 gears.. I truly think this vehicle is geared too tall stock. The 412's that come in it are simply not deep enough to get this big truck moving. My buddy put a CAI/exhaust and 480's with a reflash and he gets high 13's for MPG plus his truck blows mine away. It feels like a totally different engine.

Looks good...how do u like those tires? I ran them and hated them. Seemed like the sidewall was too soft and made cornering terrible. I also expected them to actually be 13.50 wide which they were far from and I though they woudl have some sort of sidewall pattern like most tires in this range which they did not....nonetheless, good luck with them.

Do you know what kind of backspacing/offset you bought for the Rockstars??

Re: New Rims and Tires

So how has the ride been now that you've had some time with this set up??

Any chance for more pics?? I'd like to see how far they stick out before I buy the same set up. I live in PA and they are pretty tough on the restrictions on how far the tires stick out past the fenders.

Sorry for the delay... I bought them from a local tire and wheel shop here in WV. I love the Kumhos so far, they handle pretty well for a mud tire, although they tend to try and suck you off of the road if you get too close to the white line. They are not loud at all, which surprised me... The truck is a little harder to stop now (the tire shop told me that they weighed each wheel and tire and per one wheel and one tire, it weighed 168 pounds
Sorry, I do not know the backspacing on the wheels.

I will second that, the tires are vey quiet for what they are. Have you noticed significantly more rollover when cornering? On my rig the added rollover from this tire was night and day from any other tire I had run.

When i ran them i thought the tread pattern was pretty sweet looking but they couldve done a much better job with the sidewill, aesthiticly speaking...especially for a tire that was essentially designed for blingers(large rim apps).
