McCain going back to work
McCain threw obama a giant curve today by announcing he was going back to Washington to help save the economy and would suspend his campaign as of tomorrow.
If obama does the same, he's slow to react and is playing follow the leader. If he doesn't he'll be shown as completely out of touch with Americans. Obama's campaign initially said there was no reason to suspend the campaigns or Friday's debate, then recanted and is to speak shortly. It sure took them a long time to respond, tho. http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09...-with-bailout/ |

Re: McCain going back to work
These men are Senators...
They owe it to their constituents and country to have their priority's straight. The election is over 45 days away. The $700,000,000.00 quest is in the Senate. Its your money what do you think is important now! |
Re: McCain going back to work
John McCain and Barack Obama somehow ended up at the same barbershop.
As they sat there, each being worked on by a different barber, not a word was spoken. The barbers were even afraid to start a conversation, for fear it would turn to politics. As the barbers finished their shaves, the one who had Obama in his chair Reached for the after shave. Obama was quick to stop him saying, 'No thanks, my wife Michelle will Smell that and think I've been in a whorehouse,' The second barber turned to McCain and said, 'How about you?' McCain replied, 'Go ahead, my wife doesn't know what the inside of a Whorehouse smells like |

The first debate is to be on foriegn policy, obama's admitted weak area, McCain's strongest. If McCain was worried about a debate it would be the one on domestic policy. |

Re: McCain going back to work
I dont know, 45 days isnt much when your going to be picking the leader of the free world,
and Yes i know he married into money, but that doesnt make him any less rich, it actually takes away from his accomplishments in a way dont you think? not that i can blame him for Scoring big time, his wife was a peice of ass back in the day |

Re: McCain going back to work
You would think that someone wanting to be the next pres that they could handle more than one thing at a time. If McCain is pres, is he going to put the war on hold until he figures out how to screw up the economy even worse? Don't get me wrong though, I don't like Obama either. I will set this election out and wait to vote on a more deserving candidate in 4 years...hopefully:(

Are you kidding? He's been a public servant his entire life. You don't want to compare McCain and obama's accomplishments, that would be laughable. That's why the liberals attack Palin's experience, they have nothing on McCain. Jamie, I'll be glad McCain's at work trying to work on the bi-partisan legislation that obama doesn't seem to think is very important. The economy is the number one issue on American's minds right now and obama is doing nothing, McCain is. McCain can go forward saying he helped us, obama can say he was campaigning. In reality, obama wouldn't be any help anyway, he's never authored any legislation and he'd just vote "present". |
Re: McCain going back to work
I just got back from my favorite minority barber and he had a big ole' McCain sticker on his mirror.:clapping:
Hey, did anyone see obama this morning? He's hilarious when his teleprompter stops working. It went sort of like this from CBS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThEAO...eature=related Or this where he says he hasn't gotten much sleep in the last 24 hours. Heck, he can't even do one thing at a time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omHUs...eature=related This man really cracks me up. |

Politics will never change and the country isn't fkd unless we have a Congress that's the same party as the Pres. It's all about checks and balances. Cool it. |
