wires chewed by rodents

Squirrels, Chipmunks or mice have chewed wires in the engine compartment of my 2006 H3. I've already found and fixed four wires, but still have ABS, Traction control, Check engine, brake lights on, plus cruise isn't working. Where can I get a wiring diagram so I will have an idea where to look for additional chewed wires? The ones found so far, just happened to be visible. The only code thrown to my scanner is PO449 evap control system malfunction.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions..

Thanks for the advice RubHer Yellow Ducky.. I'm also trying to convince my wife to pull guard duty with the .22 rifle anytime the vehicle is parked outside. No luck yet. Garlic, hummm.:notallthere:

Isn't this covered by your insurance? I would install a new harness.

Re: wires chewed by rodents

I found the chewed wires at the rear of the vehicle by the EVAP cannister. There were two white wires a brown and orange wire. A white and brown went to the left rear speed sensor and the other white and the orange wire went to the EVAP cannister. Also, damage from rodents and animals is covered under the comprehensive coverage of most auto insurance policies.

i was getting ready to tell you to check your speed censor wires. i wrapped a 6ft metal silt fence stake around my A arm a while back going to through a deep puddle at work. It pulled the wirring loose and I got the same errors.

Glad you found the problem. If you want to get back at the squirrles try a "Yankee Flipper". Show em whos boss and no clean up!!!!
