Help me out! What should i pay...

Took my '06 H3 in today for warranty work, and of course, ended up sitting down to chat with a salesman on a base '09. What should i be paying for a base '09?
They're telling me they'll give my $13K for my '06 with 38,000 miles on it.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks!

I sure would hope to get more than 13 on yours, unless it is in bad condition. I am not sure what the new 09 would cost but I would look into possibly selling the 06 on your own.

Yeah - according to Kelly Blue Book, my car should be worth way more than $13K. It's in excellent condition. Think i may take it over to CarMax and see what they'd give me for it. About a year and 1/2 ago CarMax offered my $24K for it.

The "FIRST" thing you need to worry about is what do they want to charge you for the 09...!

If its $1.00 more then FACTORY invoice (dealer net) BEFORE ANY AND ALL SPECIAL PROMOTIONS then its to much !!!

AND

don't price it with any dealer options... price it with factory options ONLY !!!

Then BLEED em for all the free goods you can, extended warrenty, free oil and filter changes as long as you own the vehicle, free wiper blades...etc etc.

If you live in a state that requires safety inspections for which there are charges tell em you want that free also...~

keep it till 2010 new 3.6 litre direction engine V-6 with 6 speed tranny, and possibly a 2.8 litre turbo diessel option!

Yeah- don't think i've ever paid more than invoice for any of my cars. And believe me - I get all the freebies I can! :D

3.6 litre V-6 direct injection and 6 speed tranny is a fact, it will also be e85 compatable. the 2.8 litre turbo diesel is a likely idea at this time that they are still working on.
