SUT rear tire carrier removal kit.
 

Anyone have the SMA kist that replaces the stock rear tire carrier? hows he qaulity and look? I'm considering removeing the spare but I'm not sure I like the kit. I dont really care for the chrome. I wish it was all black like stock. I also not a big fan of the license plate being off center.

I don't have the SMA kit as I didn't like the chrome either. I fabbed by own bracket out of aluminum bar stock. I was rear ended and it destroyed the bracket. Shortly thereafter, I ended up blowing out a tire, and it really sucked not having the spare. I originally removed the spare as I actually use the tailgate and bed, and could not drive with the gate open. I ended up moving the license plate up to hang off the roof, and fabbing a custom spare tire mount that allows the tire to be on the truck and drive with the gate open.
