Just thought i would share some success in improving my H2. I recently installed a high performance O2 sensor with the airaid filter in the factory box and tube. I also have the Hypertech three programing for 89 octane installed. I have to say that after a year of putting things on and taking them off I am finally happy. As mentioned in my prior posts I am back to running the factory exhaust. So really intake and programming are my only mods. This truck really moves now. No more lag off the line and the downshifts are so hard that I worry about damaging the trans. No info on mileage as I just did the install.

What type of O2 sensor did you use and how much did it cost you? Also, what settings do you have your programmer set to.

Here is what I have mine set to...

93 octane
128 MPH
6100 RPM
Improved Shift Firmness
1-2 shift point +3
2-3 shift point +4
3-4 shift point +5
Stock Tires

CBR-Raven
You should be set up just right as far as tuning. I ran that for 9 months plus ran 87 oct. with the 93 setting and the more volatile fuel made it run even better. Never had detonation or any problems but, that was with a 2005 with all the new software they totally rewrote for 2005. But, it did run good with full header catback sys. and true duals out the back. I would think there would not be to much difference so I think You should be on the money with the settings.

Thanks TAZ...I was just curious about that O2 sensor.

OK, Help me out here.
WTH is a high performance O2 sensor.
The oxygen sensor meausres the amount of oxygen in the exhaust and reports it to the computer. How is one a high performance one?
I think you got scammed on that one. If I"m wrong, please explain to me.

You were right I had a brain fart. (too much florida sun)it was the MAF sensor from granatelli. I was thinking o2 sensor as I had them replaced after ditching after market exhaust. Dealership said they had been toasted by back pressure and heat. They did replace for free so that was good.
