3 groove or 4 groove pitman?
 

I just ordered a Cognito support kit and went to order a Moog pitman and idler, but they list a 3 and 4 groove idler. Does anyone know which one I need for a 2004 H2 or do I need to take it apart to find out?

I just replaced my Pitman and it was a 3 groove. I too have an 04 H2. I dont have enough mechanical know how to tell you yours but mine was a three groove. I also got a heavy duty one from rockauto.com made by moog. so far it has held together great, then again I just did it three weeks ago for the first time.

I replaced everything last night and the steering is like new. It only took about an hour. It's amazing the slop you get used to over time. Anyway the pitman arm on my 2004 was also a 3 groove.
