siping mud terrain tires?
 
does anyone know if siping mud terrain tires will make them a lilttle quieter on the pavement?

I don't think so but the wet traction would be improved on concrete and asphalt.

I wouldn't do it for noise reduction

Your tires will be more suseptable(sp?) to chunking. But if your just a poser and not an offroder you should be ok.

Yes, it will. But don't sipe too deep. Maybe 3/16" at most.

i wouldn't say that i'm a poser. however, i'm not really into offroading. my H2 has only been offroad a few times...that's just a hobby that i can't get into. I just like the feeling of having something that's offroad capable, that way if i really needed to go offroad then i could with no problem. i've never pretended or posed to be an offroader.
