GREAT Ice tip!
 

Thanks for the tip to Rain X the he%# out of the wndshield. I've never done that before and it worked FANTASTICALLY during our recent ice storm. Really a good tip!!!!
Sill got some ice on the blades and wiper arms, but the windshield did very well. I have been siphoning gas from the Hummer for the generator for the portalbe heater, tv and computer. We are supposed to get power back this afternoon. In this weather Hummer owners are everyone's best friend. Ran a neighbor to the ER last night after a slip and fall when they told him it would be three hours for an ambulance to get to our area in the ice - took us 15 minutes to the ER and he had a sprain and not a break.

Yup, great tip, havnt tried yet though. You must live in NH ? I live in southern NH, Seabrook. We got our power back last night around 10:00 pm. My hats off to the power line workers. Tough working conditions and long hours through the crisis.

No, I'm in northern New York and we got hit with ice too. The power is back on, but yesterday I had to drive around to find a gas station with power so I could get some gas. Gas prices went up 20 cents a gallon since the storm - can you say "GOUGING!"
