Re: quick transmission ?

each year is a different part number. they bolt up the same but i'd guess that calibrations are different and there are probably some tweaks in each successive year.

Re: quick transmission ?

I'm pretty sure they're all the same. The calibration is in the pcm anyway, not the transmission.

hmm yeah just curious because i heard that the 2004-2007 h2 got the beefier 4l80e and not the 4l65e in 2003.

becuase one of my buddies told me stay away from the 2003 cause of the weak transmissions.

Re: quick transmission ?

you can rebuild your 4L65/60 so it can take higher horsepower and towing . a good transmission shop can set you up for just under $2300.00 installed with a transgo kit and hd parts kit a new hp torque converter and a cooler .
the trick is finding an honest trans shop that knows what they are doing . a stock rebuild with converter runs about $1600.00. FYI a stock trans shoul go at least 100000 miles if serviced proerly . a trans cooler should always be added. if your in Calli get Mike at Inglewood transmission to do your trans ,he is the man for HP/Tow transmissions.:fdance:

That Saab 97x is an SUV and is the same as the Trailblazer, Envoy, and Bravada.
