Turn signal/Flasher problem

I've been reading this forum for a couple of years and finally have a problem I can't find any previous answers to.

I have a 2003 H2 with about 65k miles on it. At random, when I try to use the left turn signal, the flashers will activate. Usually, all I have to do is cancel it and try again, most of the time that works. However, lately it sometimes takes 2 or 3 times.

Any suggestions?

Flasher module. They dont use separate flashers anymore, integrated into one unit. Its located right behind the left ip fuse panel behind the left knee bolster

Thanks Humtech, that's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure I wanted to spend $94 on a flasher module without some confirmation.

I put the module in today, and everything seems to work. I'll see what happens tomorrow, after I leave it out in the cold tonight (was -24 F this morning), it seemed to be worse before things warmed up.
