Are you all HUNGOVER and can't do a Sunday Thread ?

Vegged all day...didn't do a dam thing except make some really good beef stew.

Chuck, lots of onions, lots of garlic, carrots, celery, brocoli, tomatoes, sweet snap peas, chicken stock, 16 different herbs & spices and 1 very small can of tomato paste...

made about 1 1/2 gallons...now i don't have to cook for a few days

Well, spent all day Friday in the hospital ER standing next to my sister and her fiance (they were in TWO accidents on Friday.. first one a hit and run, and the 2nd one (which put them in the ER), happened when the driver of the tow truck they were in (taking their vehicle from the first accident to the car dealer) lost control and slammed into a freeway guard rail. :crying: Spent Saturday and Sunday checking on my sister and her fiance. Annnd, today was my birthday .. so I tried to carve out an hour to enjoy a birthday dinner with my husband and son.

I started to do one and then forgot. We actually got tattoos for a belated anniversary. Rich got this tribal shark that is gorgeous and I got the words Dei Gratia which is In God's Grace in latin. Both of ours is in areas we can cover up with sleeves. His is on his upper arm and mine is on my forearm.

Thanks all for your concern and birthday wishes! :) My sister and her fiance thankfully have their lives and limbs after the two accidents. They left the hospital with a lot of muscle aches and some abrasions. They're on pain meds and will get better as days go by. Their car was on the cusp of being totalled. They chose to have it repaired .. 'estimate' today was $10,500.00. :eek:

I DID manage to have my 'birthday meal of choice' Sunday evening. :D
