screach when running

i have a screaching noise coming from the from the front of the engine area i guess this could be the water pump ,,the serpintine belt looks ok ,,could it also be the belt adjuster pulley ?

did you try pouring water on the belt with the engine running to see if the screeching stops? I had a screeching noise that we thought was a pulley, the belt looked fine, but it ended up being the belt...

Most likely the belt idler tensioner. Very common in these engines throughout the GM lineup.

ok guys cheers ...i have orders up a pulley tensioner and idler pulley i will change the belt as well,,,i did hear it could be the W/AC Compressor ,,jesus i hope its not that it does not sound from there ,,,,thank you guys :perfect10s:
