Driving in snow

I am going to Lake Tahoe this thursday. The forecast is it suppose to snow. If I have 37" Toyo open country m/t, will I be ok?

you should be ok, if you still have good meat on the tires ... I was in big bear, I have 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers on 20" rims... No problems just drive the speed limit and dont do something stupid you should be fine...

the strange thing is I don't think they are any better in the snow than the stock BFG's . and yes I live in Phoenix AZ ,but also have a house in Parks AZ 15 min from Flag and got 29 inches in 24 hours this week.

They just waved us thru... But when it gets thick they check if you have chains just in case...

Problem is where the hell can I find 35" cables ( I like cables better than chains, they dont tear up your tires as bad)
