To trim or not to Trim - License Plate Bracket Questions
 

Just got the backup camera up and running. As you can see by the picture the camera mount bracket sort of hides the month and expiration year on my plate. Should I trim the plastic bracket back to give the "heat" an easier glance so they will keep rolling? If so how should I cap the ends of the bracket off. I wish I could just move the plate down but due to the tailgate insert size this can't happen.. . .Any other ideas would be appreicated.
