No, but I have had a good number of bitches flip me off or give me thumbs down out their window in the last couple months.

I usually will drift over in to their lane then a foot of so to give'em a real reason to flip me off.

Re: Keyed Hummers

I've had my front windshield and back window shot while it was parked overnight. I kid you not, the glass place found a small bullet casing. It came through the back window, hit the front and did not go through, it just kind of fell into the dashboard. I brought it to a gun shop and it was confirmed to be some sort of bullet, I forget the caliber... The glass people said "do you have any enemies"? and I said no, not at all... But boy I just can't believe a Hummer hater would go to that extreme. I don't know, I just like to think/hope it was a bunch of gangbangers out one night fooling around. I know kids usually do BB guns but that was just crazy and SCARY...

Been spit upon and at, many many times... and driving around San Francisco or Berkley I see the finger multiple times a minute. But that's life in the Socialist Republic of Kalifornia... where tree hugging is an art.

I had "GAS GUSSLER" (yep, that's the way the retards spelled it) written across my front windshield on my H3 in lipstick in a parking lot a few years ago and I've had one finger and one moon in my H2. Midwesterners are pretty accepting of the Hummer especially after all the TV publicity they got for helping in the flooding two years ago.

Had a rock (or something) thrown at me from a Dodge dually. Didn't do anything to piss him off except maybe the UT Longhorn on the back. (He was driving an Aggie marroon truck.) Thank goodness it only hit the top right corner of the windshield shattering it into the cab. No body damage, just another windshield!

I had 2 of my tires on my old H3 slashed outside the apartment complex I was living in and another guy there had his H2 keyed. With the H2 I've only gotten the thumbs down a lot.

Nothing but good comments and people staring over here in Belgium, Europe so far.
Hummers are so rare that people don't see them as a danger :D

If you are not lying, you deserve whatever punishment the law will allow for criminal destruction of someone else's property. And then you say you're going to deny it...what a big man you are.

Re: Keyed Hummers

I've owned H2s since they first came out with the '03 and I've only had two incidents, both involved finger flashing. I did have one incident where a car parked so close that I had to get in the passenger side, but as I sat there and steamed and waited, I saw a little old lady return to the car, not even realizing what she had done. I guess I was lucky she didn't hit me when she parked. When I take my mother-in-law with us, I always park in two spots, (lately it seems they stripe the lots with narrower lanes to get more cars in than they did five years ago) so I can get her in her wheel chair and open the door all the way. I'm surprised I haven't had repurcussions from taking up two spots, but I haven't, perhaps hanging the handicapped sign when I take her helps. When I first got my '03 I got thumbs up and smiles everwhere I went with it.

Some of the new comers forget the times when the H2 was new in '03 and '04 and the reception was overwhelmingly positive, BUT then came California Tree Huggers and FUH2 that needed something to rally against. Then came a damaging article in a prominent Left Coast newspaper in '04stating the H2 got "7.1 mpg and would be lethal to any compact car it crashed into." There were two sentences about it's offroad ability, nothing about snow, and the interior was described as militaristic. The article was so slanted that everyone thought Hummers got 7 mpg and ran small cars off the road routinely. I believe in the Northeast, people realize the Hummers go through the snow and floods when others don't and save lives. Even if you just bought an H2 for the fun of driving one, isn't that what America is all about, freedom and the pursuit of happiness??

bought a used hummer with what looks to be a key mark on the front driver fender. Never had any trouble here in socal but maybe I just dont really care and oblivious to incidents. Although I wanted to get a personalized plate "TRIE HGR" , I still might...:jump:
