What's the advantage of using truxxx keys instead of adjusting the torsion bars?

Do you get an addition amount of lift when using them? Seems you can only go so far until you are on the bump stops. Are they just so you don't have to run preload on the torsions bars? Thanks for the help guys. I'm trying to get educated on the topic.

you can get more lift B4 the bolt bottoms out,but that is probably too much and it makes the ride verry stiff.

Do you guys think it's a waste of money to buy the keys when you can get around an 1.5" for free. As long as your not on the bump stop so the suspension can drop down it should ride okay. Right?

any time you crank the T bars more than an inch you realy make the ride harsh and stiff . if you want a little lift get the Cognito leavleing kit .

Thanks bud! I only need about an inch to make the front sit level with the rear.

By using the leveling keys it also helps maintain your alignment. When you crank down on the torsion bolts it messes with the alignment and makes the ride super stiff. I wouldn't mess with the torsion bolts at all. Buy the keys and then get it aligned.

That is BS ,the ride will be just as stiff and hard with keys and you will need to get an alignment with keys also . the Keys put the same stress on the T bars . anyone who thinks you don't need to get an alighment after cranking the T bars or installing keys is going to find out the hard way what new tires cost in a hurry . :twak: :twak: for an inch crank the T bars and get an aligenment ,for more get the Cognito leveling kit with the A arms .

I put the 37x13.5 inch tires on my H2 and the original place who installed these tires said to simply tweak the torsion bars and I should be OK with out an alignmnet. Well 5k miles I had about 50% wear on the outside of the tires on the front tires, took back to the place and they said this is normal.
Took to a offroad specialist and they said I definitiely need an alignment and suggested I switch out the front shocks with some Bilstein shocks with 1 inch more play. Havent fully tested out the shocks yet, but seems to be more sway than stock.. Anyways defintiely get an alignment!
