Vortex Valve?

I was reading about a product called "Mileage Maximizer" and hummer dealers using it. Does anyone know if this works, it says it boosts fuel economy to about 25mpg.

I have seen them, they work really well when driving down a hill. Sometimes you get up to 30 MPG depending on the slope

:giggling:

nahanee ... think about what you posted for 1 second. Do you honsetly think there's even a slight chance of increasing fuel economy to anywhere near 25 MPG?? I mean come on ... get real :twak:
Any 1 of those things like the "Mileage Maximizer" or the 'Tornado" are not worth a plug nickel (what ever the hell that is)

I thought he would get it after my posting, but it just got worse :twak:

Seriously things like this have been tested and tried I don't know how many times and they just dosn't work.

They will probably just make it worse

With the Hummer brand near extinction due to what the world (and tree huggers) sees as poor economy which obviously does not mix with potentially rising fuel costs........ Do you not think for 1 second if the technology was there to get 25mpg out of a 6600lb rig shaped like a brick that GM wouldnt be doing it??

Tornado/Vortex etc.... = CRAP

If you want marginally better mileage I would suggest adjusting driving habits as that is the number 1 thing that will allow you to squeak out 1-2 extra mpg.

I have not had it done but PCM tuning can also get you a bit better fuel economy.

The H2 is a heavy duty truck and its gonna get poor mileage, this is not new news to anyone..... When we got ours 2 years ago I expected to get 10-11, Im pleasantly surprised that I can get a solid 11-12 out of it and I have done as good as 13.
