Brake Recall?
 

I've been trying to find some info on this matter, but no luck. Has anyone heard of H2's being recalled for disk brake pads?

My first set of brake pads lasted 75000 miles and looked like they were still good for another 10000 ,but I changed them and cut the rotors .

Yep, just had my 08 H2 done with 10,000 miles on the OD. Apparently thier is a Bulletin on the brakes. Have your Service Department call it in.

What year(s) H2 does it include.

I have a 2008 H2 with 9K miles and the dealer replaced the brakes.

Finally got an answer to the question from the dealer. It's a advisory to the dealers if a H2 owner is complaining about brake squel. It's an upgraded pad set.

That's interesting. I have been unhappy with brake squeal on my 2006, but haven't mentioned it to the dealer. I'm still under warranty, would this be covered or is this for 08+ only?

Don't know for sure what years, but my 06 is covered, and there's a post about an 08 being done.

ill make sure to notice my squeeky brakes at about 3 and a half year or 48000 miles!!!!
