Removing air compressor
Hi, just wondering if anyone has done this and what I should look out for. The plate which the compressor sits on is rusting badly, I want to remove it, grind and sand the rust off, prime and paint it. Looking for any hidden gotcha's. Thanks, RJ03

Re: Removing air compressor
SPRAY THE BOLTS DOWN WITH KROIL B4 SO THEY COME OUT EASY .

Re: Removing air compressor
It is a pretty easy job. The assembly is fairly heavy so be careful when you loosen that last bolt ;)

Re: Removing air compressor
The driveshaft on mine is rusty but I just haven't figured out how to get under there when it is spinning so I can paint the whole thing!
