Installing my new Pioneer double din nav head unit?

I have already upgraded my system in my 03 with a single din Pioneer unit that just died on me after a few years. My question is do I need any mounting face adapters for the new double din unit? Any tips on finding the vss and reverse signal wires on my 03?
