Navigation Question
On the 05 and newer OEM Nav units, is there a feature that let's you enter several addresses and then auto sort for the most efficient route?

Re: Navigation Question
Hello:
On the 2008 Navigational Systems, you can enter multiple addresses and route your directions by either "Fastest" or "Shortest" or "Other". Hope this helps. Regards, |
Re: Navigation Question
Do you know if the 2008s are different than the 2006s??
|
Re: Navigation Question
The 2008 and newer H2's have a completely different Navi system... I do believe there is a multiple destination feature in the 2005-2007 Nav units.... I have the Navi in my 2006 so I can check and see for sure.

Thanks both for the replies... MVR...if you think about it that would be great. I've decided I'm going to purchase this truck on Thursday if it's still on the lot. I'm waiting for funds to be transferred is all..... |
Re: Navigation Question
A cheap easy work around is if the nav in the truck doesnt optimize stops, buy Microsoft Streets and Trips. You can enter your begin and end points and then all the intermediary way points and it will optimize and give you directions, then you just enter the single way points into your nav in the order that streets and trips gives you. We use it daily when routing out the foreclosures that we look at daily.

We use streets and trips on the workstations at my office, then print out a map for my field reps to use. Then they just plug in the route into the garmins. I didnt have the nav unit in my 06 so I've never laid hands on one to see if you can enter multiple way points. I know the nav in the 08 and 09s you can enter multiple way points. |
