2006 H2 3rd Row Seat Question
 

Ok, took my 3rd row seat out when vehicle was new, stuck it in my basement (Folded Up). Sat for about a year. Went down yesterday to get the 3rd row seat out and I cannot use the latch to release the seat back to unfold the seat. Took it to a local shop and the guy said it needs to be latched in the vehicle for the seat back to release and unfold. This is out of a 2006 H2. Can anyone verify this for me?

I took mine out new, and it has been sitting for 2 years, and the latch works just fine. Did you try to mount it inside?

i had the same problem had to latch and secure the seat in inside the hummer then it would fold back unless there is something you can push manually on the front or rear hooks

Ok so it does have to be secured for it to unfold. Thank you. Couldnt try it myself because I dont have the vehicle here.

It can be done.
Not that this will be a big help but there is a way to unfold it when not latched but I can't remember how to do it.
I needed to take pictures of it, unfolded, when I sold it on ebay.
It took a few minutes to figure it out. :popcorn:

Hello, its kind of trickie but if you move the bottom lever while moveing the upper it will unfold.It worked on mind so i could take pics to sell.
