Removing the starter...I need help

I've done a search and could not find the info that I need.

Any tricks to removing the starter? I've removed the 2 bolts but can't back out the starter. Seems I can't get the wires out of the way?

take the plastic cover piece off the bell housing opening it will give you more room. also remove wires from starter
