hypertech question?
 

i bought a hypertech programmer from the lovey ebay!!!! paid very little for it but its vin locked. my question is ther any other option besides sending it back to hypertech for reprogramming or maiking back to stock?

If it is VIN locked, the seller used it on their vehicle and that programmer is done. If they don;t have the vehicle they programmed, that programmer is garbage. Hypertech will not unlock it either.

I have one f/s in the classified section/ for 03 to 05 only though. ...not sure what year you have.

i had called hypertech and they said they would unlock a programmer for $250... you could buy a new one for almost that...

That is true they will unlock it but it does cost a fortune. I recommend you send it back and file for a refund through paypal. I purchased mine through E-Bay also but i ensured In the description it stated it was reset and ready to install the programming again. Sorry to say but send it back.
