Seriously 31K?

Re: Seriously 31K?
Economy continues to not improve and get worse. I sold two vehicles in the last 4 months and if you want to sell accessories are worth nothing and plan on taking 6k off retail.
I just bought my first H2 and looked for two months I was surprised how many people had no idea they were no going to get what they wanted. I had dealers calling me and taking 3k off their asking price over the phone. |

first truck nice......second truck nasty

^...exactly. These units are hard to sell right now regardless of what has been done to them to enhance the appearance (Rim,tires, supercharger, etc..) That black SC'd H2 should be a clear indicator, but damn.......... that is one clean setup. |
Re: Seriously 31K?
What's really surprising me is that GMAC is not dealing. My H2's lease is soon up, and my residual is $36K. They will not budge. The truck is an 06 and has 30K miles I'd love to buy it back, but not at that price, considering what you can get out there.
I'm checking with the Caddy dealer here to see if there's anything they can do. A friend of mine told me they will take the truck when it goes to auction, and offer it to me at $500 what it goes for. If there's ANYONE out there with any ideas, please let me know. Thanks |

Re: Seriously 31K?
Ok, I am in the market for a late model (08 or newer), low mile H2 SUV and I am not having any lucking finding any DEALS at all. Am I not looking in the right places. Do you guys see any H2's out there that you think are good deals and nobody is jumping on? If so, post them here or send me a PM, I would appreciate it.
Many thanks, Michael |

Michael, Unless you specifically want a newer and stock truck, I would be looking at an 06 or 07. They're still new enough but yet have been around long enough that they've been modified. Looking at the black SUV that sold on ebay... well, that was a ridiculously great deal. I would rather buy that than a stock '08. Mark |

One idea.... don't pay that much or even close for the truck. I got mine fully loaded for $29,900 with 24,700 miles on it, great condition. THat said, in my multi month quest the 33-37k for right around 30k miles was the norm, some with less options also. The deals are out there just gotta look. I know.... you're probably attached to YOUR truck. :lame: situation. I'll never lease again. I tried to negotiate w/ Infiniti on my lease residual and they wouldn't budge either.... they lost their ass not me. Good luck man.. |
