Wow, do I feel dumb!
 

So, I've got a burnt out map light, and I can't figure out how to change it! I take the little plastic lens off, there's the light, but i can't get it out!! Do I need to remove that whole top console or is there an easy way? Hope someone can help! Thanks in advance!

Service manual for a 2003 mentions turning the bulbs a 1/4 turn after popping off the lens. (no direction given)

one can only assume you turn them 1/4 counter clockwise to remove them.

Awesome, thanks so much guys! I was trying to pull the bulb out with the reflector still in there, didn't even clue in that I could take the reflector out!
