thats exactly how this is... uses a strong two way tape and screws from the inside. install was minutes.

Mark,

Nice, same as the one I installed (except mine has the 3 grooves). Great price, the dealer in Los Gatos gets about $190 for same thing.

Check into OEM mudflaps next, should help keep your rig clean.

Looking good!! Getting mine installed on Tuesday.

How is the quality of the video/audio and did they give you back your original headrests in case you decide to change the screen in the future?

MarK M 01-09-2006 03:49 AM

I'll be posting up the AVIC-D1 with rear cam tomorrow. Just finished that project this weekend.

DVD's look great! I just love the Charcoal/Cashmere interior. It's the main reason I bought the model I did.

Looks great. Post a rear camera pic if you get a chance. Were did you put the gps antenna?

Mike E 01-10-2006 12:36 PM

That is sweet! I want one!!! The trouble is i don't think there's any good installers in my area. At least none that I would trust not to screw up the electrical.

Whats the model # on that Pioneer unit?

MarK M 01-10-2006 05:26 PM

If you are somewhat technically inclined its not that hard... do it yourself.

you've got the forum to help you as they did with me.
