Question About Hertz H2
 

I've been looking at a 2007 H2 at the local Hertz sales office. It has the Hertz navigation system which they are going to remove. It also has what looks like a factory navigation system but of course the sales people do not know anything about Hummers. They didn't have a navigation DVD. I had the salesman get the build sheets and it states that this H2 has option UMB (or UM8) NAVIGATION RADIO INCLUDES TWO (then it's cut off).

Based on this entry on the build sheet, does anyone know if this H2 has the factory navigation system? Thanks.

I would think if the truck has the display screen in the dash its safe to say it has the navigation system, unless it is an aftermarket head unit of some sort (doubtful). If the truck didn't have factory nav it would have a 6 dic in dash changer or a single disc cd player, neither of which feature a big lcd display like the nav unit.

That being said, I'm sure there is a nav disc somewhere, they just lost/misplaced it.

If you buy a rental vehicle, I would have it looked over VERY closely with a PPI. You know the old saying, drive it like it's rented~!

I hope it's not one that I rented! I'd be surprised if it's still on the road!!!

Thanks for the responses. It looks like someone has already purchased that H2. It had only 24k miles and the bumper-to-bumper factory warranty was still valid until next July.
