Left Rear door ajar...
 

so this started this morning on me.

the H2 sat for 4 days without use until last night when i took it out for about 30 mins. thats it.

so this morning, heading to work, i get the door ajar message.
i walked about the H2 opening and shutting all doors.
i have opened and shut ( slammed) the door in question, but still get the message.

any thoughts?

Not me. I would suspect a bad door sensor. But I'm sure that thought has already crossed your mind.

could be a broken wire, bcm, ipc, most likely door latch

Hi if you have kids and the door gets used alot you may also have a broken wire where the door opens, inside the rubber boot.

I had that on my 03 with air suspension was a pain because the air suspension wouldn't ocme on with the door ajar light on. Turned out to be the body control module which required removing the glove box and i think fan motor to get to it. The dealership took two weeks to figure it out.
