That's great news. With over 250,000 of them out there (not counting H1 and H1 Alphas), you know there is going to be a big market for quality preowned Hummers, parts and repair. I was at Lynch yesterday and all their service bays were full with Hummers. I'm hoping they might stay open too.

To put this into context in 2000 Ford produced and sold 445,157 Explorers in the US, and 67,123 foreign Explorer sales in one year alone!

friday was the last day for HUMMER of Sioux Falls :crying: Our HUMMER show floor will be filled with BMW today. We will still sell used and certifies HUMMER but no more HUMMER dealership. the last remaining sign is coming down today. We got hid hit hard with having 3 car lines that GM decided to dump. Our Saturn showfloor will turn into the Cadillac showfloor, Pontiac showfloor will do Mercedes, and the HUMMER showfloor will be for BMW.

2 out of 3 showfloors going to foreign brands. That's just sad...

Glad to hear that the local Hummer (San Antonio) had decided not to close and is buying more Hummers and restocking their inventory with parts. I hope that, some way or some how, the Hummer brand comes back. It's a great truck and I don't plan on selling it.
