FS- Piaa 510 SMR Lights- 4 Sets

I have four sets of PIAA 510 SMR driving lights that are brand new never turned on.

I was going to use these in a light bar project (see below) but decided to go a different direction for now.

They are out of the box, but come complete.

$150.00 shipped per set.

Here's a picture of the lights when they were attached to my light bar before powder coating.

Were you modifying a stock roof cross bar?

Where on the roof were you going to place it? In front of sun roof?

What different route did you decide to go?

I am thinking about modifying a stock bar with low profile lights, similar to GM Part # 17802559.

Are these the ones that can replace the stock DRL's? And what does "SMR" stand for?

Thank you.

AFAIK, SMR are the lamps with the whiter light, as opposed to the 'ion crystal yellow' of the non SMR's.

Are they the driving beam or the fog beam? By complete you mean, wiring harness, switch and relay?

Thanks!

Yes, the picture you see above is a stock roof cross bar. It was going to go all the way to the front on the roof, with 3 OEM cross bars behind it.

I put four PIAA 520 SMRs on a WARN light bar (which was part of the plan) but decided until I get more miles on this thing and really get serious about actually needing all those lights I'd hold off.

I have all of the wiring, relays, directions from PIAA, cross bar that is drilled/powder coated/wired. I'm going to save all of that stuff, but why save the lights for years?

I'm not sure if these are the ones that fit or not. I think DRTYFUN (SP?) on this forum has the PIAAs that fit in that slot.

You'd have to ask around to be sure.

Visit http://PIAA.Com to see exactly what SMR stands for. I believe it's their "clear" lens vs. fluted lens.

I have a set of rare 520 SMR fogs. The lens is clear, the bulbs are yellow, and reflector is different that an SMR driving light.

All the 510's that I have for sale are the driving beam pattern, which is determined by the reflector (back of the light housing). You could put a set of yellow bulbs for fogs it's just that the light pattern wouldn't be as wide.

Yes, they are complete with everything that came in the box- just no box. That would include wiring, relay, switch, bolt/nut, directions, etc.....

Do you still have a set available? Will they fit on the stock brush guard single bar? What color is the beam?

Thanx, Eddie
