air lift suspension
 

Today I fixed the air lift suspension as a field repair;
this pricy subsystem was malfunctioning, bottomed onto the snubber(s), rode like a damned lumber wagon.

The GM dealer sez, "1600 clams fer a new pump-valve assembly;
but 4 less than US$100 I have devised a manual override to the factory system;
about 1-2 hours to install. no shade tree or 12 pak beer involved;
the 'service air suspension' message still shews up on the DIC at start-up;
& I have retained the onboard compressor deck for inflating the tires;
