What to do with my old gears?
 

Im cleaning out my garage and came across my old stock Hummer gears which I had upgraded to 4:56. Are these things worth keeping? Are they worth anything if I try to resell? I am running 37s on my rig and do not plan to go back to stock ever...

I doubt it... I've kept my original set and the set out of my '06 and in both cases, they're just cluttering up my shop.

I say pitch 'em... I'm going to. (that is the guaranteed way to have someone come up to you and ask if you still had some old gears..lol)

Personally I would not buy used gears. On the other hand you may be able to sell them to a Chevy truck owner.

I would (and have) if they were the factory gears. I wouldn't buy a set of gears that someone installed themselves. (not to say they didn't set it up right.. just don't want the hassle)

If you trash them, I'll take them. I'm making a shop lamp out of an old cylinder head. Maybe I could use the gear for a trim piece. :D
