So I apparently can't search from my phone. Does anyone know how to change the alternator on an 03 H2? Or atleast to loosen the belts?

on the passenger side of the engine compartment
there is a tensioner pulley
its near the top kinda in the middle
take a socket to it to release the tension on the belt, so you can slide it off.

the altenator..
i would have to be in front of mine to tell you how as i have not done it (yet).

Thanks that's what I needed. I had to leave for work this morning after it started coming up not charging and already replaced the battery. Ill try that here in a few once I'm off

Whoah check the cable fromt the alternator before you spend the money. My dash was lighting up and giving me the same message. The cable lead from my alternator to the distribution link was caked up and was not letting the charge through. just a thought before you spend the money on an alternator.
