New License plate mount
 

Well I never really liked the look of the spare tire hanging off the back, and I plan on getting the GOBI roof rack with spare mount so I made some changes.

After taking off my factory spare tire mount, I found out that there isn't a place to mount my tag anymore. So I took apart the back door and mounted the tag to the center black piece. Bought a weather sealed LED strip and mounted it as well. Here are the pictures. What do you think?

Wow! that looks great. Very professional. I dont like to do any mods or minor upgrades with out making things look factory and professional. Very well done. Was the wireing any issue? :perfect10s:

Thank you! Same here, I like changes to look like it should or could have came that way.

Wiring was pretty easy. Just had to find the running light wires in the factory tapped bundle.

Looks very OEM...nice job.

I, on the other hand, like the the spare tire look...just not the license plate bracket that attaches to it. So, I moved mine too...no wiring...two bolts...one piece of angle iron...lol.

YEAH...little brother could use some suds and bubbles in this pic, but you get the idea.
