lower front diff diy?

This is probably a stupid question, but I'm just trying to learn. Coming from Jeeps, I'm used to solid axles, so ifs is new territory when it comes to lifting. Is it possible to slightly lower the front diff by putting small spacers between the mounting points (maybe 1"), or am I just talking nonsense. :dancingbanana:

I have wanted to do this with mine as well. But its not something that can easly be done. I suppose if you made a new cross member for the underside of the diff you could do it.

What if I just lowered the stock crossmember. Would that not work? Can't be that hard...:dancingbanana:
