On Star and XM Service
I've pushed the onstar button for the sweepstake and ended up getting 6 months of onstar service for free, no credit card needed. Also, I called XM and gave them my car ID from my nav receiver and got 3 months of XM service free, same thing no credit car needed. Take advantage of it!

Re: On Star and XM Service
You can also get XM for $77 a year if you ask them. I just got it but wish I didn't. This is my first time with satalite radio and don't like it. Keeps cutting in and out whenever there is any blockage of the signal (tress, hills, overpass, house, etc...). Its very annoying.

I haven't had any issues of the signals cutting out on my XM. I'll give that $77 a try after my 90 days is up, thanks for the info! |

Unless you have a ton of things blocking the signal all the time this is how Satellite Radio works ~Richard |

I got the $77 deal a few months ago...stand your ground if they first say "no", they will likely give it to you if you insist or act like you're willing to cancel all together.:jump:

It also might be the area I live. It really is horrible around certain areas which I'm assuming is from the hills since nothing is blocking overhead. This is Marin county just north of SF. When I was in the south bay it seems to work better but still not as good as FM. Oh well. |

I love XM. I have it on the H2, Corvette, Harley, at the office, at home, and on my iphone. The selection of music is much better than FM or AM, in my opinion. |
