G.E.A.R seat covers

anyone ever had any experience with these?

I wonder if they would fit because all those military pockets would be helpful and look bada$$ at the same time. theres a jeep specific version then a universal truck application

opinions?

Re: G.E.A.R seat covers

I definitely think they'd look sweet, especially in black...
...a few observations, though:

1. The images are probably of Universal version since the Wranglers have adjustable headrests (like us) and the seat in the images looks like it's out of an older Ford Expedition. So, I don't think the universal ones will work on our trucks, and I worry that the Wrangler version will be too small. We've got some chunky seats.

2. We'd loose easy access to the seat controls...not a real big deal.

3. What about our fold-out arm rest? I can't do without that!

I'd really need to 'see' one...maybe they'll send me a sample?! LOL.

yes lets heckle them for free samples! claim we will be the H2 Guinea pigs. :giggling:

well for starters im a big guy(6'5) and have never used the fold out armrest once in my life. forget its there most of the time. i juts use the center console as my armrest.

and second i was thinking of somehow removing the lower seat part and only using the backing with all the storage.

thanks for the input! ill have to ponder this one more before i come close to purchasing

Found a pic of the black...http://www.m2deal.com/servlet/the-16...rangler/Detail
...and this site (http://www.quadratec.com/products/pr...at+Covers&c=85) gives you a different view...might still work for us little guys who like the arm rest.
...and here's one in action WITHOUT the bottom: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f59/s...-g-e-r-866407/

It looks fine and I guess I prefer that color than the black one. It seems like you can load it with the stuff that you'll prefer to bring.
