steering whine
 

Iv noticed my steering is starting to whine louder and more often during turns. i have a feeling the steering pump is about to bite the dust? my owners manual doesnt say anything about flushing the steering fluid for maintenance, would it help? or should i just replace it soon?

is this something the average DIY can do? just bolt in the pump, connect the hoses and replace fluid as needed?
