Service Air Suspension

Is there a common cause for the Service Air Suspension popping up on the DIC? Appears there are no related codes to pull to isolate the problem.

Bags seem to be inflated and not leaking as the suspension seems fine. The Ride Height doesn't work though for sure. Just blinks and does nothing. Doesn't even seem to run the compressor. Compressor does from the rear switch but not sure if its actually doing anything. Been a bit to hot in the east these last couple weekends to climb under the truck and have a looksy so I'll admit to not having done full due diligence on this. Just trying to gain a heads up on the common problems especially if its not a crack/leak in the bags themselves.

Howdy,
Just bought a 2003 H2 with intermittent "service air suspension" warning and sketchy ride height. After looking at some postings, I decided to pull the air bags and install coil springs. If you decide to do it yourself checkout one of the other post in this section. Guy did a good job of step by step. You will need a coil spring compressor tool.

Thanks all. Yep. sure the day will come for springs but the cool thing is I have the DIC message but the truck is absolutely fine. I keep thinking I will get around to fixing it but since its working fine I'm probably going to procrastinate a little more.... besides, I have to fix the H1, cracked frame. Ah the joys of Hummer ownership but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Thanks for the help
