buzzing noise in the small overhead speaker
Has anyone had the problem of the tiny speaker, that is overhead on the drivers side, buzzing? I am not sure how to make it stop. It almost sounds like a radio station that is not tuned to any channel. Any one else have this problem or know how to fix it? If it helps its on a 03 H2.
Thanks again Jason. |
Re: buzzing noise in the small overhead speaker
Hi that is the onstar mic not a speaker. If your not using onstar unhook it.

Re: buzzing noise in the small overhead speaker
Could it be the Air Temp Sensor making a noise ? The mic is near the sun visor and the temp sensor is the one farther back. Just another thought on the possible cause.

Re: buzzing noise in the small overhead speaker
Buzzing while underway is normally noise from the plastic around the front windshield not being secured properly.

Re: buzzing noise in the small overhead speaker
Thats not a mic its the inside air temp sensor or also called the aspirator. there is a small fan inside that draws inside air inward to monitor temp for the auto hvac controls. If its making noise you either live with it or replace it.
