4 BFG All Terrain Radial T/A tires (size 315/70/17) Chicagoland area
3 Attachment(s)
I have a set of 4 BFG All Terrain Radial T/A tires for sale, these came off of our 2008 Hummer H2, they have approximately 35,000 miles on them and are right in the 50% tread range, these are all worn evenly (rotated regularly) and have no cupping. None of the tires have ever been patched or plugged however upon removing these I did find 2 nails in one of the tires, they are both right in the middle of the tread and not even remotely close to a sidewall...... I wanted to leave them there because I want the next buyer to see exactly what the issue was, I also know that some people prefer to patch or plug and I wanted that decision left to the next buyer as well. These are in no way "new" tires but they do cost $300 each brand new which is alot of cash..... this set would be great for someone in a pinch for cash that needs 4 decent tires for their truck. Asking price is $250 for the set of 4, I am not looking to seperate these. I am an honest seller and I feel that I have described these accurately, if you have any questions or would like to come and inspect them in person please let me know. I can be reached at six-3-zero-235-one-8-six-9, do not text me....phone calls only, if you get my V.M. please leave me a message and I will return your call. Im not on the board that often so calling is the best bet.
Thanks for looking, Mike |

How did the BFG do in the snow? I have 325 65 r18s nitros and they tend to float on top of the snow and throw the truck arounds a little. I wonder if it's the tire width.

The BFG's are terrific in the snow when they are newer.... when they get down to 50-60% tread the snow traction begins to deteriorate a bit. The wide tires do tend to get the truck shoved around a bit when there is rutted deep snow on the roads..... but once again this is not much of a problem when the tires are new.
If your looking for something that is supposed to be great in the snow then check out the Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac, they have a high snow rating on them. I got a killer deal on a set of very low mileage take off tires that only had 5,000 miles on them otherwise I was seriously considering the Dura Trac's |
