Engine shuts off when parking downhill
 

Sometimes i have to park on a steep road, front downside and back upside. last time the engine shut off 3 times when driving out of the car park. i don't remeber what i was doing when it shut off but i think the car did not move, perhaps it happend when changing from R to D or the other way round, or when doing a reverse hill start. after that i could start the engine again without any problems.

anyone an idea what could be the reason for this? it only happens on this steep road.

gotta ask how much gas you had in the tank...

What kind of incline we talking about?? 30+ degrees? 45 is half way between level and stright up and down.

i don't know how steep it is. it's quite steep for a usual road but i can measure it when i'm there the next time:rolleyes:

i don't thinks it's a problem of low fuel because i could start the engine immediately after it shut off.
this never happend with my previous H2.

sounds like something with the fuel or fuel pump.
