Throttle Body Coolant Bypass

Has anyone done the coolant bypass on the throttle body? I know it will get around 5 free HP ( http://www.ws6.com/mod-8.htm ) and the fox body mustang guys do it too. My only concern is if cold weather idle is determined from the computer or mechanically on the throttle body coolant temp. Anyone know?

?????????

where do any coolant lines run to the TB on an H2?

show me something that is done on a H2, or atleast the same engine.
i could care less about anything else, as it most likely wont work, or will only work on a ford, or mopar.

I did this on my C5 Vette and felt absolutely no difference in power. I believe the coolant line runs through the TB to prevent it from icing up in very cold weather...the heat built up in the TB is negitable and the air passes through it so fast, I don't think it makes a measurable difference. Safe yourself the work. I tried it, but wouldn't bother again.

I was going to make it, but you can buy it too ( http://www.teakatoys.com/Hummer_H2_C..._p/400-216.htm ) Like someone mentioned it's so the throttle body doesn't stick in really cold weather. I know 5 hp can't be felt with the seat-of-the-pants-o-meter but for $10 in parts I thought it would be free HP.

I live in Phoenix ,it is hot as hell here. I have done this on all the LS vehicles I own since 1998. I have never felt any differance ,but I'm shure it helps in hot climates. If I lived in cold country, I would not do the bypass.
