How do you use sea foam?
I'm going to have to use sea foam, because I think I have my injectors clogged.
I would like to know how you guys usually do it, do you add a can through the vacuum line, or use a can in the gas tank, or both? I was thinking of doing 1 in the gas tank, but now I've been reading, and I'm thinking of pouring one in the vacuum line also. What do you guys think? |

I'd be interested in seeing LoJac963's response.
Personally I use it via the gas tank on both the truck and ATV. |

you could also go with having the injector system cleaned by a professional where they remove the fuel pump fuse letting the rail pressure down. Then connecting pressurized cleaner kit thru the fuel rail. This injects the cleaner to the injectors immediantely.

The basic way most people use it is through the upper intake manifold. Those are all the videos on youtube you'll see with the white smoke flowing from the tail pipes. Disconnect the vaccum line (on my last LS2 it was at the rear of the intake mani) and have the engine running. Fill a cup with the Seafoam and slowly let the engine suck the seafoam into the upper manifold and into the combustion chambers. The goal is not to kill the engine but to keep it running. Once all the seafoam is in turn the engine off and let sit for 10-15 mins then start it back up-done. In addition to the above you can also add Seafoam to the crankcase (oil) and the fuel to clean the fuel system. If you have adapters it can be added directly to the fuel rails for a more direct approach to the injectors. Just my tid bits I know about doing it :D |

Where's the vacuum line in an h2? :D
If anybody could post a picture so I don't screw up, that would be great! |

On my GTO with the LS2 you actually disconnected the vaccum brake booster line and used that. I haven't taken a look at the H2 to see but it should be in a similar location towards the rear of the intake manifold. If I get a chance to take a look I'll let you know if no one else finds it |
